If you are wondering about the 4 Chocolate label, it is a nod to the primary 4 women in my family: my mom (Theresa), my older sister (Amy), me, and my younger sister (Amanda). We are the organizers, planners, designers, recipe finders, tweakers, and makers. Our little project only works because of the tremendous support from the men in our family and the participation of the younger generation of nieces and nephews who help execute, sort, package, and even prepare some of the candies with us.
Over the long Thanksgiving weekend, my family goes cuckoo for cocoa spending the days making chocolates together to enjoy through the holidays and share as holiday gifts. We’re talking 12+ hour shifts for multiple days. We have managed to keep this tradition going through births, health challenges, adventures, broken bones, surgeries, and distance. It seems nothing can stop us when we put our heads and hearts together.
There is a potential surprise in your box this year. Our 2025 Feature Flavor is Pomegranate Cranberry. You might receive a pomegranate cranberry caramel or a pomegranate cranberry truffle. They look the same on the outside, so you just won’t know until you take a bite! Either one is a tart burst of fruity holiday flavor.
If you received chocolate from our family this year, we hope it brings you some happiness. You should be able to taste the love and care that went into every handcrafted piece.
**For friends with allergies- all but 2 candies are Gluten Free. The Gingerbread Truffle and Peanut Butter Ball both have gluten elements in them this year. All of the candies could have come into contact with nuts (peanuts, almonds, pecans), although we try very hard to keep things separate.
